The SAP Business One Academy presented by Richard Duffy

The SAP Business One Academy presented by Richard Duffy

One of the key things that we have heard loud and clear from our SAP Business One partners is that you want to make it even easier to train new consultants…even better, you’d like to have new consultants available to hire with a base level of skills already in place.

And not only consultants but sales people and pre-sales consultants who already have a basic level of understand ing of how to position and sell SAP Business One using the standard methodologies that we teach at SAP.

Methodologies like the Synchronised Customer Engagement Lifecycle or Sync CEL, the basics of demonstrating SAP Business One using the methodologies we teach in our Demo2Win and DiscoveryToWin training and our Accelerated SAP Business One Implementation Methodology.

Many of you have also said that you don’t have the time to run basic boot camps to train potential new consultants to choose from so I have decided to do it for you….

In 2013 I will be launching a web site at www.sapbusinessoneacademy.com where I will provide a set of “fundamentals” training modules for each of the 3 disciplines – sales, pre-sales, and implementation…and part of the training will incorporate videos covering areas of SAP Business One functionality and concepts to make it easy to consume the basic knowledge in bite site chunks.

Of course, it wont replace the traditional full learning that takes place in classroom sessions delivered by SAP Local Product Experts but I hope that by offering this platform I will be able to make it even easier for you to find pre-trained people to hire and for those of you out there looking to make a start with a career in SAP Business One, I want to help you get that start, at no cost to you.

Perhaps you have heard of the Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org) – a great way of thinking about what I plan to offer is a version of this focused specifically on SAP Business One and the things you need to know to get started with this solution for small and midsize enterprises.

So stay tuned as the SAP Business One Academy will launch in January 2013 around the FKOM time frame….the site is being built as I write this and populated with content so I look forward to sharing it with you in 2013.
