Time for action - build your SAP Business one OnDemand plans now!

Now that SAP Business One OnDemand Pricing has been announced and the first group of hosting partners have been signed up and are getting enabled, the next  question from SAP Business One partners is how do I get up and running and quickly win my first SAP Business One OnDemand customers?

So with that in mind I gave some thought to the question and heres my 3 step quick start guide to marketing your SAP Business One OnDemand offering.

  1. Build Your Landing Page and OnDemand Demo Environment
  2. Build a list of potential customers from your database
  3. Execute a specific focused campaign with a targeted offer

The first thing you need to do is ensure that you have an area on your web site or a dedicated micro-site that outlines exactly what SAP Business One OnDemand is , provides information on cloud computing generally and also provides an area that allows your prospective customers to view demonstrations of the solution and take the solution for a test drive.

This is where you’ll want to direct any inbound traffic that you generate from your other marketing activity such as direct mails, seminars, blog posts and other social media activity.

The second step once you have that in place is to build your list of potential customers and my recommendation that a great place to start is to go back to your database of prospective customers that for various reasons decided not to buy from you. Perhaps they couldn’t afford an SAP Business one solution at the time, maybe they did not perceive enough value at the time to justify the upfront investment.

These are an ideal place to start and I have attached some direct mail templates you can use for a couple of different scenarios that you can use as the starting point to execute a specific focused campaign on SAP Business One OnDemand.

cloud campaign draft     cloud hype campaign    ERP Re-engagement letter   prior engagement letter

I would look at what you can do from the perspective of creating a special offer for those prospective customers who you already engaged with as a bonus for them having re-engaged with you – perhaps a special services package, maybe the opportunity to win an iPad – look at the economics of your business and see what your give and get could be to encourage people to respond.

If you are stuck for ideas, drop me a note – I would be happy to brainstorm some ideas with you……

One last thing, I am currently building a microsite template that you can use – similar to what I built for you as SAP Business One partners to promote the SAP Business One starter package- this should be ready in the next 2 weeks so drop me a note if you would like to receive the site package when its completed.
