As part of our ongoing drive to help SAP Business One partners become more effective marketers and build their practices, SAP will be running a pilot program with a selected group of 20 SAP Business One partners from across the globe to enable them to build and execute a Social Media strategy as part of their overall business approach.

SAP has previously worked with John Jantsch, the marketing brain behind Duct Tape Marketing and the creator of the Social Media Pro training that will be used to guide partners through the five steps to building a Social Media program so it made sense to leverage his experience.

John has presented sessions for SAP in the past as part of our annual SAP Business One Partner Enablement and Education Sessions and his book Duct Tape Marketing and Marketing System is now used by more than 100 SAP Business One partners around the world and the feedback from partners has been excellent.

And it aligns perfectly with the message that was delivered to SAP partners about the 7 Steps to Marketing Success – particularly with the definition of marketing that John espouses – “(marketing is) getting people with a need for your product or service to know , like and trust you, so that they try then buy from you and refer others to your business”.

As part of the process, those partners will also have the ability to leverage one on one coaching sessions which I will deliver, in my capacity as an Authorised Duct Tape Marketing Coach – an authorisation I gained as a result of deciding to personally invest in the program and training that John offers as part of his approach to helping small businesses become better marketers.
